The Recorder and Jazz becomes a blog

Since maintaining a regular web site is a difficult and time consuming task, I have decided to switch over a blogging platform, hoping it will allow for more frequent updates.

Hi guys fantastic work! I play descant and treble recorder and up until now I thought I was limited to just baroque music. I've been searching the internet for ages because I have to do a Jazz prac in music class. I've been freaking out because I thought "jazz recorder?! What are you crazy?" but you guys have given me hope. If there are any recorder pieces that you know of that are jazz or any tips you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for that fantastic music.

Thanks for starting this blog. Uri Caine and Joel Levine were buddies of mine in high school and college, and it's nice to hear them playing together. Such chops!
