He has been playing the trumpet since the age 12. He has performed around the world in Jazz, Rock, R&B, Funk, Reggie, Irish, Soul, Swing Bands and Symphonic Orchestras. He was a trumpeter in the U.S. Air Force Band in the late 60s. He toured parts of Asia with the soul band the "Beautiful People" and has played at the New York World's Fair, Rockefeller Center and played for 10,000 people at the Seoul Korea Pop Festival of 1970. He has played for dignitaries, Vice Presidents and Senators and has shared the stage with such legendary musicians as Hubert Sumlin, Nat Adderly, Ira Sullivan, Red Rodney, Linda Hargrove and Marcus Roberts. He also played with the "Original Drifters" . Recently he recorded on David Lieder's CD "Tyranny of the State" and Linda Hargrove's CD "One Woman's Life".
